Hear from the masterminds behind Fifteen Fifty on the Park as they share their vision for this new luxury condo residence in Lincoln Park.
As Fifteen Fifty begins to take shape, the transformation of a highly visible but long underutilized corner is coming into focus. Now rising 10 stories above the intersection of Clark and North, Fifteen Fifty will provide not only luxury residences, but also as a gateway to three of Chicago’s most celebrated neighborhoods: The Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and Old Town.
In the footprint of the demolished Village Theater, the Gold Coast’s newest condo development will rise. When finished, the project will feature 32 two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans ranging between $1.6 million and $5.8 million.
Those need-a-new-home feelings you’ve been having? There’s never been a better time to act on them. From serene parkside properties to architect-dynamo condos, these are the must-grabs in new and upcoming real estate.
Fifteen Fifty’s 3 top-floor penthouses are the epitome of luxury, offering over 4,000 square feet of indoor living. Penthouse residences include expansive terraces and rooftop decks that can add up to 1,270 square feet of outdoor space.
From Curbed Chicago: "The two-story terracotta and brick facade of Chicago’s Village Theater is making its return to the corner of Clark Street and North Avenue at the intersection of the Old Town, Gold Coast, and Lincoln Park neighborhoods.
While much of the action took place behind the scenes, this summer saw significant progress on the construction of Fifteen Fifty On The Park. Work included the demolition of three existing buildings on the site; the pouring of 49 concrete caissons reaching a depth of 80’; installation of a 160’ tall tower crane; and the excavation of Fifteen Fifty’s foundation, paving the way for the building to go vertical this fall.
Chicago-based Gary Lee Partners, now in its 25th year, is one of the city’s most sought-after interior design firms for high-end residential and commercial projects. GLP has been involved in Fifteen Fifty from the earliest stages, collaborating with the developers, architects and sales team to design residences and amenities that are sophisticated and timeless.
In many ways, Fifteen Fifty on the Park is a contemporary interpretation of classic Chicago architecture. This is perhaps best exemplified by the building’s curving bay of corner windows, paying homage to Benjamin Marshall’s iconic Fifteen Fifty N. State Parkway, just two blocks east. But Fifteen Fifty’s stately floor plans also evoke the grandeur of prominent pre-war buildings along the park and lakefront…with a contemporary twist.
